Streams in the Wasteland is comprised of two stories…two very different stories.
There’s Graci’s story: a battle with ovarian cancer.
And then there’s mine: a valley of infertility.
The common ground we share in our two stories is our faith, our hope in the hardship.
I wrote Streams in the Wasteland to honor Graci’s life and share her story with more women around the world. But I also wrote this devotional to help you find hope in the hardships that life is bringing you.
Whether it is cancer, infertility, chronic illness, heartache, depression, loss, poverty, or overwhelming anxiety; whatever affliction or adversity, we all need hope to get us through the hardships. Are you struggling with your faith during a difficult time? Are you searching for the blessings in disguise?
If you are striving to find that hope, to rest in the Lord and trust Him with the next step in your journey, Streams in the Wasteland is written for you. This devotional will encourage you on your journey and help you to grow spiritually in the process.
Remember, you are not alone in your struggle. Others have experienced similar pain, fear, and hardship. This devotional reminds you to put your hope in Him while you trust Him with your story.
Yes, Streams in the Wasteland is comprised of two very different stories…but both are shared from the heart for His glory.
See, I am doing a new thing!
Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?
I am making a way in the wilderness
and streams in the wasteland.
—Isaiah 43:19
